Our Learning Philosophy
We believe each
child is a unique individual and has a right to be treated as such.
We believe children grow and develop in their own way, and
every
child needs opportunities to develop intellectually, socially,
emotionally, physically and spiritually. We provide a caring
and
positive environment so that we can encourage children to learn and
discover. We believe parents and teachers should collaborate
to
help each child reach his or her full potential. We value
both
structured and discovery learning, and feel it is important to expose
children to a variety of learning experiences
including one-on-one
settings, as well as small and large group settings.

Learning with love and laughter
Amazing Grace Preschool is more than a daycare, because we do more than care for and entertain your child. We teach, too! So in the midst of the fun and laughter, your child is learning!
History
Amazing
Grace Preschool has been owned and operated by New Life Assembly of God
since the summer of 2005, but its heritage goes back some 20 years.
The preschool was originally founded as part of Athens
Christian
School, which was located at New Life Assembly of God. When Athens Christian School closed, the preschool became a part of Grace Academy, which was run by Albany Baptist Church and encompassed preschool through 8th grade. (Kindergarten through 8th grade classes were located at Albany Baptist in Albany; the preschool was located at New Life Assembly of God in Athens.)
When Grace Academy closed in 2005, Pastor Philip Foster of New Life Assembly of God decided to keep the preschool portion running. New Life Assembly of God took over ownership and operation of the preschool and renamed it "Amazing Grace Preschool."
